Sa moan Cuisine: Fa’alifu talo/ta’amu History of Taro and Ta’amu: For as long as I can remember these two vegetables have always been a part of our everyday lives. In all the village council meetings, village gatherings, church gatherings, family events, taro and ta’amu are always guaranteed to make an appearance. Growing up we were taught that it was important to grow taro and ta’amu because it is a great source of nutrients, it is not hard to grow in mass, and most important of all they can survive tropical cyclones. It is common to cook this dish daily in Samoan families. I thought about how this tie into my Samoan culture and I could not think of how it does not tie into my culture. I think the video is good and I think you know from our class discussion the things to work on. I am really impressed with this flyer. It is clean, professional and they would be foolish not to use it.
ReplyDeleteI feel as if your video gives off that real Coffee shop atmosphere. Also that the sped up scene of the workers making coffee really the video interesting. It really seemed like something you'd see on TV
ReplyDeleteI really think you should sell them your work. The video was on point, supported by a slow scat jazz type music added a sense of sophistication. The flyer as well looks very well designed and contains just enough information to ignite interest in the coffee shop. Good Job!
